Add Khmer keyboard (no download)

Windows 11: Settings > Time & language > Language & region > Add a language, search Khmer and install.
Windows 10: Settings > Time & Language > Language > Add a language > Khmer.
Many people like Khmer NiDA keyboard. Download from trusted website only.

Switch language

Windows + Space — switch between English and Khmer.
Alt + Shift — also switch language (old shortcut).
Look at ENG / ខ្មែរ on taskbar to know what language you are typing.

Install font

Double click font file (.ttf) > Install.
Many font: select all, right click > Install (or Install for all users).
Or copy font file to C:\Windows\Fonts.

Type Khmer fast

Learn key position, don't look keyboard all the time. Practice 10–15 minute every day.
Know subscript (ជើង) key on your keyboard layout. On NiDA, it is J key.
Use same keyboard layout all the time so your hand remember it.

Small Khmer text on chat app

Install good Khmer font like Khmer OS System or Noto Sans Khmer first.
Telegram Desktop: Settings > Default interface scale to make everything bigger.
Restart the app after change font or setting.
