Hello my friends! In this lesson 4, we learn advanced creative tools in Illustrator: Spiral Tool, Arc Tool, Perspective Grid Tool, Puppet Warp Tool, and Gradient Mesh Tool.

I. Spiral, Arc & Perspective Grid Tools

These tools help for drawing special curves and 3D perspective background drawings:

Spiral Tool: Draw spiral line like shell or hurricane shape.
Arc Tool: Draw smooth curved line arc segment.
Perspective Grid Tool (Shift + P): Turn on 3D gridlines on artboard for draw building, street, and 3D box in true perspective angle!

👉 Quick Tips for Spiral & Perspective Grid:

Control Spiral Rings while Dragging: When holding mouse to draw spiral, press Up Arrow key ↑ to add more spiral loops, or Down Arrow ↓ to remove loops!
Hide / Close Perspective Grid: Many beginner get stuck and cannot close perspective grid! Just press Shift + Ctrl + I (or Shift + Cmd + I on Mac) or click tiny X icon on top-left plane switcher box!

II. Puppet Warp Tool & Gradient Mesh Tool

Advanced tools for bend vector character graphics and realistic 3D color shading:

Puppet Warp Tool: Put pin points on vector character (like arm, leg, head) to bend and pose character easily without breaking vector path!
Gradient Mesh Tool (U): Create 3D realistic smooth color shading grid over vector object like realistic fruit, car body, or 3D icon!

👉 Pro Tips for Puppet Warp & Mesh Tool:

Pin Rotation in Puppet Warp: Click pin point, hold mouse near dashed outer circle line to rotate arm or leg pin smooth angle.
Mesh Tool Color Pick: Use Direct Selection Tool (A) to pick single Mesh point, then click color swatch or Eyedropper (I) to add 3D highlight color point!
