Python is programming language. It is easy to read and easy to write. Many people like Python because:

  • The code look simple, not too many symbol
  • Good for beginner — easy to understand
  • Can use for many thing: website, data, AI, automation

Python make by Guido van Rossum in 1991. Now many big company use Python: Google, Netflix, Instagram. 😮

💡 Why Learn Python?

Here some good reason to learn Python:

  • Easy for beginner — Python code is like English, easy to read
  • Many job use Python — Data Engineer, AI Engineer, Back-end Developer all use Python
  • Many library — Python have many free tool to help you do work fast
  • Can do many thing — website, data analysis, machine learning, automation script

🛠️ What You Need to Start

Before write Python code, you need install two thing:

  1. Python — Download from python.org{target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"}
  2. VS Code — Download from code.visualstudio.com{target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"}

After install, open terminal and type this to check Python work:

python --version

If you see version number, Python is ready! ✅

👋 Your First Python Code

Open VS Code, create new file call hello.py, then write this:

print("Hello, World!")

Then run it in terminal:

python hello.py

You will see:

Hello, World!

Congratulation! 🎉 You just run your first Python code!

💡 Tips for Beginner

  • Practice every day — Even small code is good. Don't stop!
  • Don't memorize — Understand the concept, then code by yourself
  • Make small project — Try make simple calculator, guessing game first
  • Read error message — Error is normal. Read and try to fix it
  • Search online — Google and Stack Overflow are your friend 😄
